# PC 977 - Waiver of Defendant's Personal Presence This form allows a defendant to skip appearing in person at their court hearing and have their lawyer represent them instead. A defendant would use this form when they want permission from the judge to not show up physically to court because their attorney can handle the case on their behalf.
