# PRU-200 Form Purpose The PRU-200 form is used when someone charged with a misdemeanor (a minor crime) wants to skip the full court process and immediately plead guilty or no contest to the charges. A person would need this form if they've been arrested for a misdemeanor in Sierra County and want to quickly resolve their case by admitting guilt without a trial.
