The DV-100 is a request for a domestic violence restraining order that someone files with the court to get legal protection from an abusive spouse, partner, family member, or household member. A person would need this form if they are being threatened, harassed, stalked, or physically hurt by someone they live with or have a close relationship with, and they want the court to order that person to stay away from them.
