The EA-730 form is used to extend a restraining order that protects an elderly person or dependent adult from abuse, harassment, or threats when the original order is about to expire. An elderly person (age 65+) or a dependent adult (someone unable to care for themselves) who has an active restraining order and needs continued protection would file this form to renew it.
