ICWA-010 is used in child welfare cases involving Native American children to notify Indian tribes and parents about court proceedings and allow them to participate in decisions affecting the child. A parent, guardian, social worker, or court official involved in a case where a Native American child may be placed in foster care or adoption would need to file this form.
