The MMC-120 form is used to request an emergency court decision without the other person present when there is an immediate danger or urgent situation that cannot wait for a regular hearing. People such as domestic violence victims, parents protecting children from immediate harm, or others facing emergency circumstances would use this form to ask a judge for quick protection or orders.
