# Marsden Motion (Español) A Marsden Motion is used by a criminal defendant to ask the court to remove their public defender or court-appointed lawyer because they believe that lawyer is not properly representing them. A person who is facing criminal charges and has a court-appointed attorney would need this form if they want to request a different lawyer.
