The DV-250 is a court form used to request a restraining order (also called a protective order) that protects someone from harassment, threats, stalking, or abuse by another person. Someone would need this form if they are being threatened, harassed, or abused and want the court to legally order the person causing the harm to stay away from them and stop the harmful behavior.
