This form is used to ask the court for permission to deliver a lawsuit notice by posting it on a property (usually a building or door) instead of giving it directly to the person being sued. Someone would need this form when they can't find the defendant to hand them the legal papers in person, such as when someone has abandoned a property or cannot be located.
