The DE-140 is a court order form that officially approves and confirms a will or trust after someone has died, allowing their property and assets to be distributed according to their wishes. Probate executors, administrators, and heirs use this form to get the court's legal authorization to manage the deceased person's estate and transfer their belongings to the rightful beneficiaries.
