The SER-001 form is used to ask the Orange County Sheriff's Department to officially deliver court documents to a defendant or other party involved in a lawsuit. A person filing a case in Orange County Superior Court would use this form when they need the sheriff to hand-deliver legal papers instead of sending them by mail themselves.
