Request For Special Immigrant Juvenile Findings
Imperial Superior Court · Common Judicial Council Forms
Verified current as of July 28, 2026
The JV-356 form is used to request that a court make special findings that a young person (usually under 21) has been abused, neglected, or abandoned, which allows them to potentially qualify for special immigrant status and remain in the United States. A young person in the foster care or juvenile court system who is not a U.S. citizen would need this form to pursue legal residency or citizenship through this special immigrant juvenile category.
This form must be printed and filled by hand, or opened in Adobe Acrobat.
