The CR-15 form is used in criminal cases to collect information about a defendant's income, expenses, and assets so the court can decide if they can afford to pay for a lawyer or must use a public defender. A person charged with a crime in Imperial County who cannot afford to hire their own attorney would need to fill out this form.
