Dismissal and Sealing of Records—Welfare and Institutions Code Section 786

This form is used to dismiss a juvenile delinquency case and seal the court records so they are hidden from the public and most employers. A young person, their attorney, or the prosecutor uses this form to request that a case be dismissed and the records expunged after the juvenile has completed probation or met other legal requirements.
