The JV-2006 form is used to request that a juvenile court case be transferred from one California county to another county where the young person now lives or where the case would be better handled. A parent, guardian, social worker, or attorney involved in a juvenile dependency or delinquency case would need this form when circumstances require the case to move to a different county's jurisdiction.
