This form is used by someone involved in a criminal case to ask the court to change the amount of money they must pay to stay out of jail while their case is pending. A defendant or their attorney would use this form if they believe the current bond amount is too high and they can't afford it, or if the prosecution wants the bond raised because they think the defendant is a flight risk.
