# Order for Publication This form is used when someone needs to notify a defendant in a lawsuit but cannot find them or deliver court papers to them in person, so the court allows the notice to be published in a newspaper instead. A person filing a lawsuit would need this form when they've tried multiple ways to locate the defendant and need the judge's permission to use newspaper publication as an acceptable way to notify them about the case.
This form must be printed and filled by hand, or opened in Adobe Acrobat.
