The DV-101 is a request for a domestic violence restraining order that someone files with the court when they need legal protection from a spouse, partner, family member, or household member who is abusing or threatening them. A person would need this form if they are being physically harmed, threatened, stalked, or harassed by someone they live with or have had a romantic relationship with, and they want the court to order that person to stay away from them.
