Waiving Limitations for Temporary Judges in Family Law, Probate, UD, Small Claims and Traffic Cases
San Bernardino Superior Court
Verified current as of July 16, 2026
This form allows parties in certain types of cases (family law, probate, eviction, small claims, and traffic) to agree that a temporary judge can hear their case, even though temporary judges normally have restrictions on what they can decide. Someone would need this form if they want to use a temporary judge in their case and are willing to waive the usual limits on that judge's authority.
