# Ex Parte for Modification of Sentence This form is used by someone who has been sentenced in court to ask a judge to change or reduce their sentence without the prosecutor being present at the hearing. A person who has already been convicted and sentenced would use this form if they believe their sentence was too harsh or if their circumstances have significantly changed since sentencing.
