This form is used by property owners in Alameda County who want to ask the court to cancel or remove a civil assessment (a special property tax) that they believe was incorrectly imposed on their property. A property owner would use this form if they think the assessment was calculated wrong, illegally applied to their property, or violated some rule in how it was supposed to be done.
