# Guidelines for Evidence Submission This form explains the rules that the Santa Cruz Superior Court uses for how people should present documents and other proof during civil lawsuits and hearings that aren't criminal cases. Anyone involved in a civil court case—whether you're suing someone, being sued, or attending a hearing about money, property, or other non-criminal matters—would need to follow these guidelines to make sure the court accepts their evidence.
