The DV-700 is a court form used to request a domestic violence restraining order (also called a protective order) that tells someone to stay away from you and stop harassing or hurting you. Anyone who is being abused, threatened, or harassed by a current or former intimate partner, family member, or household member would need to file this form with the court.
