The ME-802 form is used in custody and visitation cases to help the court understand each parent's situation, preferences, and ability to care for children so the judge can make decisions in the child's best interest. A parent or guardian involved in a family law case where custody, visitation, or parenting arrangements need to be decided would need to complete this form.
