A Certificate of Rehabilitation is a court document that officially declares a person has reformed after a criminal conviction and is no longer a threat to society. Someone who has completed their sentence, stayed out of trouble for a set period, and wants to clear their criminal record or restore certain rights (like professional licenses) would apply for this certificate.
