The FL-05 form is used by both people in a family law case (like divorce or custody) to agree that they want to try mediation instead of going to trial to resolve their disagreements. Either spouse or parent involved in a family court case in Imperial County would need this form if they both want to work with a neutral mediator to settle their disputes.
