# Alternative Dispute Resolution Status Report This form is used to update the court on the progress of a case that is being handled through mediation or another non-court settlement process instead of going to trial. A person involved in a lawsuit—either the person suing or the person being sued—would need to file this form to tell the judge how the dispute resolution process is going.
