EFS-008: Order of Exemption from Electronic Filing and Service

This form allows a court to excuse a party or attorney from the requirement to file and serve court documents electronically and instead permits them to use paper filing. A party, attorney, or court may use this form when electronic filing would cause undue hardship, technical problems, or other good cause, such as in cases involving sensitive matters like domestic violence restraining orders, child custody, or when a person lacks reliable computer access.
